From the Philadelphia Business Journal A gene therapy company spun out of the University of Pennsylvania went public today through a $138.6 million IPO.

Regenxbio Inc. was founded in 2009 through a collaboration of Penn, through its Center for Innovation; Penn professor Dr. James M. Wilson, director of the university’s gene therapy program; and FoxKiser, a Washington, D.C.-based pharmaceutical and biotechnology consulting firm.
